How to choose the best necklace for your face type?

Done with picking the right earrings for your face type? We realized it would be completely wrong to leave you hanging there with only a pair of earrings. We understand not everyone’s an earring person. For those of you who have a thing for the necklace, let the parade begin!

The Diamond Face

Women with diamond-shaped faces can sport any necklace. Their necklaces should complement their neckline i.e. low cut neckline should be paired with long necklaces that are tapered towards the end, chokers for the long necks, etc.

The Heart Face

Those with a heart-shaped face need to go for necklaces with curves. Large beads towards the end or three strand chokers are the perfect neck pieces, especially if you have a long neck. However, if you have a short neck, go for bold pendants or any chain that hangs as close as possible to the neck.

The Rectangle Face

In order to make your rectangular face shorter, wear choker and collar necklaces to make it look more round! Avoid wearing Y shaped necklaces or large beads at the end of the necklace since it makes your face look longer than usual.

The Round Face

Longer necklaces are a big yes when it comes to round faces. Y shaped necklaces help to take the focus away from the face and makes it look li’l bit less round. Make sure you avoid collar or choker necklaces as it adds to the roundness of your face.

The Square Face

The squared shaped ladies can go for neck pieces that form a U. Pick up necklaces of length princess, opera, matinee and rope. Necklaces with curves and twists are preferred to soften the sharp edges of the face.

The Oval Face

Oval-faced ladies can sport any type and design of the necklace provided the necklaces are in proportion with the face. Make sure you avoid very long necklaces because it will make your face look even longer. The shapes that go with the oval face are pearl, open link chain, etc. That’s all about faces and necklaces.
