Take care of your precious jewels but don't shy away from wearing them cause not wearing them causes more harm!
How to handle your fine jewellery?

- • Every piece of jewellery should be stored separately, preferably lined with cloth or velvet.
- • Sweat, perfume, henna, etc. can alter the color of gold.
- • Avoid wearing it while doing household chores.
- • Touch up your jewellery with Rhodium to restore its shine.
- • Get your jewellery washed to remove dirt when required.
Diamond & Gemstone Care

- • Diamond can chip, break and crack on impact.
- • Wear it cautiously to avoid losing the diamond(s).
- • Gemstones needs extra care while wearing and storing.
Pearl Jewellery Care

- • Preserve pearls in a soft cloth or tissue.
- • Store each pearl jewellery individually.
- • Pearl necklaces need to be re-strung frequently as the thread weakens.
Gold Jewellery Care

- • Plain gold jewellery also needs to be stored separately.
- • Gold jewellery worn daily needs to be cleaned regularly.
- • Enamels can chip off in course of time and need to be given to the concerned jeweller to fix.
How to wash Jewellery at home?

- • You can use a soft toothbrush to clean gold, diamond and gemstone jewellery after it has been soaked in soap water or mild detergent. Wipe dry with a soft cloth soon after.
- • Toothpaste is another great option for cleaning plain gold jewellery.
- • Avoid using bleach at all costs.
- • Luke warm water is best for cleaning jewellery, although it is complete NO for pearls, kundan and enamel jewellery.
- • Never put any piece of diamond, gemstone, kundan, polki or enamel jewellery in hot water.
- • Store them in a cool dry place to avoid moisture or excessive heat.
