Yellow Sapphires often play substitute to yellow diamonds in jewellery as it is far more affordable. Yellow sapphires are found in Kenya, Brazil, Thailand, Australia, Burma, Tanzania, Cambodia and Sri Lanka are major sources of good quality yellow sapphire; Sri Lanka being its primary source.
